Help the foodbank by donating your unwanted clothing, shoes, and textiles.
In order to raise much-needed funds, our volunteers help us to run a textile recycling centre here at our HQ in Love Lane, Cowes.
Our Textile Recycling Centre is fundamental in raising funds to assist with the operational costs of running the foodbank, such as the foodbank van which collects and delivers food to our 7 centres.
How it works
Members of the public kindly donate unwanted items of good-quality clothing.
Donations can be dropped off at our HQ in Love Lane Cowes, on Monday, Wednesday or Friday mornings between 9am-12pm. We also have a permanent textile collection point in Sainsburys Superstore, Newport.
These donations are then sorted by our team of volunteers, ready to be sold at our Textile Recycling Centre- see opening times below.
We receive a small income from any unsold items, which are recycled to Ghana.
What to Donate
We are grateful for donations of good-quality items of:
- Bed linen
- Baby Clothes
- School Uniform
- Children’s Clothes
How to buy
Open to all on Monday, Wednesday and Friday Mornings between 9am-12pm.
We also have a monthly clothing sale on the first Saturday of the month between 10am-1pm. Here you will also find Tea, Cake and a Tombola!
