Reverse Advent Calendar

From November 1st - 24th, follow along with our Reverse Advent Calendar and each day give an item to support a local person in crisis.

WHAT IS A REVERSE ADVENT CALENDAR?

A Reverse Advent Calendar is a great way to show that Christmas is about giving as well as receiving.

It works much like an advent calendar but each day there is an item to donate.

HOW TO MAKE IT FUN FOR CHILDREN (or grown ups!):

Decorate a box and place the item in your box each day, then mark it off the calendar.

Click for a PRINTABLE VERSION.

(We need to weigh the items in as they arrive so please do not wrap the items.)

Please follow along:  Instagram, Facebook and Twitter.

WHAT SHOULD I DO WHEN I HAVE FINISHED?

We will be running our Reverse Advent Calendar from November 1st – 25th. Once you have done all 24 days, please bring your donations to our warehouse in Cowes (Click for our address) by Friday 1st December. This allows us enough time to sort the food in time for Christmas.

Alternatively, you can place your items in the Isle of Wight Foodbank collection baskets at your local supermarket.

View our Cowes Foodbank hours.

Thank you for helping local people in crisis this Christmas.
