Fashion into Food 2025 – Our Monthly Pre-Loved Clothing Sale

The Isle of Wight Foodbank is excited to announce the success of its pre-loved clothing sale held on February 1st, which attracted 85 enthusiastic supporters from the local community. The event raised an impressive £695, helping to provide essential food supplies to those in need across the island.

Attendees browsed through a diverse selection of quality second-hand clothing, with many discovering unique finds while contributing to a worthy cause. Visitors could also sit down, have a chat and enjoy tea and cake. The turnout highlights the community’s commitment to supporting their neighbours who are facing food hunger.

“We are incredibly grateful to everyone who participated in the sale,” said Lisa Matthews, Operations Manager. “The generous support from our community enables us to continue our vital work at the Isle of Wight Foodbank.”

The next pre-loved clothing sale is scheduled for March 1st 2025, and organisers are optimistic about another successful event. The Isle of Wight Foodbank invites everyone to join in the effort to raise funds and support local families in need.
