Residents across the Island are invited to shop for a cause at “Fashion into Food: The Big Sale”, a special pre-loved clothing event in support of Isle of Wight Foodbank.
Taking place on Saturday 25 April 2026, the sale will be held at Newport Minster Parish Centre from 10:30am to 2:30pm.
The event offers a simple and affordable way for the community to refresh their wardrobes while supporting local families in need. Shoppers can purchase a bag for £5 and fill it with as many items as they like from a wide selection of men’s, women’s and children’s clothing, as well as household items. There is no limit on the number of bags people can buy.
All proceeds from the event will go directly to Isle of Wight Foodbank, helping to turn fashion into food by funding essential food supplies for individuals and families across the Island who are struggling to afford the basics.
Organisers hope the event will bring the community together to support a vital local service while also promoting sustainable fashion through the reuse of quality pre-loved items.
Whether you’re looking for a bargain, supporting a good cause, or simply enjoying a community event, “The Big Sale” promises something for everyone.
