Isle of Wight Foodbank moving from The Bay

After six years at the YMCA building in Shanklin, the Isle of Wight Foodbank will soon be moving on. We’ve been kindly asked to vacate the space, and while it’s the end of a chapter, it’s also the beginning of a new one.

We want to say a huge thank you to the YMCA trustees and staff team for welcoming us back in March 2019 and supporting us every step of the way. We’re especially grateful to our volunteers – past and present – whose dedication, warmth, and hard work have made it possible to support thousands of local people in need.

To everyone who’s dropped off donations, packed food parcels, shared a kind word, or simply cheered us on – thank you. You’ve made the last six years meaningful and impactful.

Our end of notice is 17th September and we are now actively looking for a new venue in the Shanklin or Lake area. Ideally, the space will have plenty of parking and be easily accessible by public transport, so we can continue serving our community as effectively as possible.
